Philippa Allen

Philippa Allen is the CEO of Compliance Asia and has over 30 years’ of extensive experience with business and regulation in Asia. The launch of ComplianceAsia in 2003 was driven by her particular expertise and experience in developing compliance solutions for foreign and new financial institutions in these markets as well as managing regulatory issues arising in Asia with its complex cross border business models. As a respected leader in the world of compliance, Philippa was one of the drafters of the Fund Manager Code of Conduct in Hong Kong.

Her career includes a role at Dresdner Bank as head of compliance for Asia Pacific. After the merger of Dresdner Bank with Allianz AG, Philippa joined Allianz Dresdner Asset Management as head of legal and compliance for Asia Pacific.

 

Philippa holds a Bachelor of Jurisprudence and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of West Australia.
